To be fair to Riley over the 13 years there have been a great deal of successes:
1. Howard Webb refereeing 2010 champions league final and world cup final in same year.
2. Mark Clattenburg refereeing the 2016 champions league final and Euro 2016 final.
3. Only England is sending two referees to the World cup this year
4. There are other successes such as Europa league finals, nations league etc

It is probably time for a change.  i hope Webb gives this his full commitment - something he is not great at!!

Didn't those referees get those games because of their performances in those competitions or in international/European football?
