…..another new name for me to view at my beloved Sunderland this weekend when we play Wycombe.

I have to admit to not knowing him at all , but would be interested in other posters views about Mr Salisbury.

Haven't seen Mr Salisbury junior in action this season, although I did highlight on here a poor red card/penalty decision at Milton Keynes, which was successfully overturned.

He was a very capable AR, but I was a little surprised, having seeing him in the middle at NL level a couple of times, that he was promoted to the FL so swiftly.

IMHO he is one of the better up and coming officials but certainly needs a few years learning his trade before SG2..has an air of authority but sometimes inconsistent in application of LOTG

As ever, wish him and all officials well this weekend

I recall Mr Salisbury as one of the most uninspiring officials I saw at National League Level.
Also very aloof.
I too was surprised by his elevation
Lack of frequent mention on these pages however would suggest he has improved somewhat

His performance in the TV game at Haringey last Friday night seems to have passed largely without comment, although I didn't see the game so cannot confirm. I note he is at Sunderland this weekend, another up-and-coming ref to be tested in a PL environment perhaps (see separate thread)?
