My Christmas is always strange from a family point of view because one son serves in the RAF and the other is a Paramedic in London so every year there is always one of them working and we either have a visit from one or we visit them.
This year, the Paramedic is working as is his wife, a GP in Sheffield and the other son is out in the Middle East for 6 months on RAF Operations and will not be home until May.
The problem is that his wife, a type 1 diabetic with only one kidney, is on her own in Telford and her son, also a type 1 diabetic who lives on his own in High Wycombe is not able to visit because he lives in a Tier 4 area.
Anyway, life goes on and Christmas will happen in an unusual fashion so may I wish all contributors on here a very Merry Christmas and a hope that 2021 will see things gradually return to some sort of normality ---whatever that may be!
