Mike Dean seems to be a very marmite referee, you either love him or you hate him. I Actually like his no nonsense approach, It Made him one of the country's best for so long. I personally think it's rather effective, especially in games like the north London derby. He doesn't Shirk the big decisions either.

We all referee differently, A lot of our top referees down the years have had different styles, and it's worked out for a lot of them. I prefer to judge referee's on there ability to make the right decision personally, and apply the laws consistently and fairly.
