I know the two you mean and I think everyone can agree that Madley and Jones should both be promoted this season.

I also like Bankes, Brooks and England too to be honest... not sure they’re ready for SG1 yet but they’re better than a lot of the rest in SG2 for me.

Just as well you didn't set the bar very high, you would have been disappointed.

Just as well you didn't set the bar very high, you would have been disappointed.

Why, was Linington that bad? The reports I have read do not mention him at all which suggests it was a fairly controversy-free game but maybe you could shed more light for us.

There is too much dross in SG2. Some of the NL guys are much better...

Names, names?  In the NL I can think of Whitestone and Toner who are certainly better than many in SG2 but there may be others

My point was about being disappointed if a high bar was set.  Mr Linington was certainly an improvement on the three previous officials with no major controversies although I have seen him have much better games.  An already scrappy match wasn't helped by a number of questionable, soft free kicks.
