Controversy in the first minute of the game. Looks like it could be a shocking mistake by the linesman. Don't know when he put the flag up for offside though .

Beyond awful decision  by the assistant. Sort of offside you expect on the parks. Also took an age for Davies to realise the flag had been raised. Awful start. Can only get better

I really rate Daniel leach as an assistant referee but he has had a ight are couple of weeks. He was the one who alerted Andy Davies to send off Jay Rodriguez the other week when nothing happened and then the offshore decision tonight,

I suspect the flag went up for the first ball forward where the attacker was probably offside, although it was incredibly tight.  Yes, the referee didn't stop play but he still didn't stop play after the final pass and awarded a penalty even though his assistant was stood with his flag up.  Even after giving the penalty it took him some time to finally see the flag and reverse the penalty.

Whether a mistake from the AR or not, it is very poor refereeing not to see your assistant stood with his flag up for so long.  Can only assume comms and buzzers both failed, but even so he should sill be looking across.

This is getting worse as the game goes on. Think Derby have been a real dirty side tonight but how the referee hasn't given a penalty to derby there for a foul by the keeper I do not know!!! Very dangerous challenge

Absolute dross from Davies in the second half. Missed a clear penalty when a Leeds player had his foot trodden on despite Davies being right in line and looking straight at it, and even worse when Peacock-Farrell caught Holmes on the face studs up when claiming the ball. Looked a little bit deliberate to me.

After the shenanigans in the first half Davies has lost control in the second. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a red, although the Leeds keeper should already be in the shower.

I was very surprised to see Davies appointed to this high profile match. Just shows the lack of quality in SG2.

I totally agree. Stonewall penalty and a red card for me. The keeper jumps with his feet and has a second movement into the face of the Derby player. It’s going from bad to worse . He is having a mare. So many poor poor decisions.

Not brave enough to give an obvious penalty/red card against Leeds at home despite looking straight at it.

So far out of his depth, but having seen him referee many times I'm not a bit surprised.

I wonder what he does for a living !

Also shows the lack of quality in those who do the appointing.

One of the worst performances by the officials in any championship match in many a year.

I couldn’t believe so much rubbish was on offer tonight, and right at the end Waghorn was very lucky to stay on after a nasty challenge on Jonsson.

Just home from the match. I'm glad so many have already posted as they have. The referee was poor tonight very inconsistent. I have been saying consistently for a long time that the general standard of SG2 refereeing is simply not good enough with another prime example tonight.

I think that there’s a number of good referees on the SG2 list, but obviously tonight’s game didn’t go to plan for the referee team. I was shocked to see Andy Davies on this appointment though.

We had him in the FA Cup last week at Preston and he was dreadful there. I wasn't surprised by his performance. Surely that game needed a SG1 on it. Mr Peacock-Farrell will surely be hearing from the FA next week.

Sadly, that number is somewhere near two.

What a waste of  money!
