That was my feeling. No attempt to play the ball but sufficient covering defenders. Yellow for me.

My view was entirely the opposite - I don't think there are covering defenders. The player's next action is to shoot with only the goalkeeper to beat.

Therefore, the only question for me was whether it was a genuine attempt to play the ball or not.

I certainly wouldn't say the decision was incorrect and I'm a bit surprised the appeal won.
