If it comes to fruition I hope he does well. I've always rated him and thought the depth and structure of the UK game would benefit him immensely.

Crystal Palace V Burnley would seem the most likely trial from the first few weeks of PL fixtures.

If this happened, it would be four SG2 referees getting trial games in one season so it would be interesting to see how many are promoted - and who.
