J BROOKS: MAN UTD V BRENTFORD

Brooks looks more and more confident and better every time I see him. Not a clear error to be seen as of yet. The ideal 1st half for/from team ref.

Apart from a questionable foul that made up the collection to give Noorgard a yellow, a fine display from Brooks.

I have to agree with Adam. I had a few reservations when he was promoted to SG1 but he is developing into a very reliable and safe pair of hands, much better imho than the likes of Coote and Bankes

I believe Brooks is seen as the eventual replacement to Anthony Taylor when Taylor retires from the Elite Uefa List. If Brooks gets close to Taylor's record ( first he has to establish himself pretty quickly and thoroughly at international level ) then he will have done very well indeed. Time will supply the answer.

Agree with this, I think Brooks and England have been seen as the next ‘big 2’ for many years

I think at one stage Kavanagh was also seen as an 'heir apparent ' but he has been unfortunate with injuries and his upward progression hasn't perhaps been quite as smooth and rapid as had been hoped.

Achieving Elite status is a prerequisite to such success so will have to watch how that goes.
