Only saw this game on the television but thought that he produced a very competent performance. A relatively low profile with only limited intervention. Let the game flow when it was safe to do so. First time I have seen him but I thought he controlled the game with a liberal amount of common sense. Consequently for the neutral it contributed to the enjoyment,

Lee is one of the most underrated officials on the list , very steady pair of hands , very consistent and understanding of the game

The few times I’ve seen Swabey (in person and on the TV), I’ve always been very quietly impressed. He’s steady and uncontroversial. I think he would have gone higher if not for injuries over the years

Not so sure on the penalty decision in this game. Looked very soft and not in keeping with what he had been punishing as a foul during the game.

Probably the second best performance by a referee at Portman Road this season.

Question mark over a possible Ipswich penalty in the first half. The Ipswich penalty was given by the AR on that side, but they both missed the goalkeeper being a couple of feet off his line when the kick was taken.

Overall very good.

The best performance this season was by a certain Mr Breakspear.
