May I take this opportunity to wish all our contributors and readers a very Happy Christmas.
My Christmas list this year includes:
* toddlers waking up no earlier than 8am
* children eating all their brussel sprouts and then sitting quietly whilst the adults watch The Queen
* teenagers bringing their parents a cup of tea and toast in bed
* parents thanking their little ones for the pair of Christmas socks or boxer shorts that are way too small to wear
* grandparents refraining from mentioning the word 'B****t' or pontificating about 'the good old days' or lack of alcohol in the Xmas pud
* Lewis failing to get his hands on Audrey's Ł000s in Corrie.
And then for Boxing Day....
* a card-free day on the football field (CB and TK please note), bar Xmas cards which will be exchanged before the KO
* officials being applauded on and off the field
* refs and ARs dressed in festive red and blue rather than the unmentionable y****w.
* NW accepting defeat at Selhurst Park graciously and without blaming the officials
* Crewe beating Lincoln.
I'll leave you to add to the list. Thanks to our Admins for making the transition to the new website such a smooth affair! And all the best for a very Merry Christmas. Cheers!
