I was always amused by Graham's 'quick walks'. I think he worked on the basis of why run when you can walk. It usually worked. I wish Graham all the best in his retirement.

As a footnote, I have added Graham to my database of 'final games' which can be accessed on ISOR. And of course we must welcome Graham into the ranks of ISOR. Graham certainly gives a new meaning to 'old refs' does he not?

And we thought Grandad Walton wouldn’t be eclipsed!!!

Are Woolmer (55) and Kettle (54) the new grandads therefore?
