G ELTRINGHAM - Leeds v Forest
« on: Sat 27 Oct 2018 19:17 »
Oh dear oh dear, how on earth has Smallwood not seen the ball put into the net by Roofe by his arm.

He had a completely unobstructed view of the player and has made a complete hash of not flagging for hands.

Probably an even clearer handball than the hand of god.

Utter rubbish.

Should there not have been an offside prior to the corner Forest scored from? Ball bounced forward off a Forest player and the Leeds player was prevented from playing the ball cleanly by the attacker who was in an offside position.
Love to know what Assistant said to Ref, something along the lines of "I cant be certain what it did come off"?
Both Leeds players in the vicinity looked to assistant before joining in celebration.
Compare to Billy Vunipola, who the other week, with Saracens claiming a try turned to the ref and said "I dropped it, no try"
As for Holloway on Quest....

I missed the EFL highlights last night... what dross (if any) did Holloway blurt out this time?

No dross; he correctly said that the officials missed the handball.

It was more his whiter than white attitude that it "wasnt win at all costs" and that he would rather "lose than win by cheating"
I trust that on his return to management he will carry this with him
