G WARD - Fulham v Birmingham
« on: Tue 18 Jan 2022 21:01 »
I know a lot of fans have been banging on about how poor Ward is as an official and I admit I’ve been one of his critics…

It’s not been the polished article tonight and has missed a fair bit, including a clear foul on Wilson when Fulham had the chance to break two on one in the Birmingham half.

I cannot understand how play was not stopped when Cairney and a Birmingham player had a tangle with what appeared to be head injuries. Play carries on until the next foul was committed at least twenty seconds after.

Also missed a clear advantage in the first half when Wilson could have broken away down the right and Ward pulled up play for a foul.

A frustrating night thus far.
