David Coote/Paul Tierney - Spurs v Leeds
« on: Sat 02 Jan 2021 13:29 »
More dross from Mr Coote and Mr Tierney. Penalty to Spurs and it’s clearly as proven by replay to be outside the area.

What games has Tierney been watching the last two days? Two games with clear views that wrong decisions have been made and he hasn’t overturned them.

Shocking

Was the United one clear and obvious - I don’t think it was. It’s a penalty.

Today was clear. Not even sure it’s a foul.

I’m sure our resident Spurs fan/ref hater will give us an unbiased verdict!

Paul Pogba clearly fouls himself in the game last night. It’s appalling that Tierney can’t see it on a replay.

Today’s is inexcusable. Awful from FIFA officials.

Thought David Coote may be involved, it also, isn't the first wrong penalty decision Paul Tierney has been involved in this week, and with Man Utd being given an helping hand at the top of the table as well.

Right knee of Alioski onto left hamstring of Bergwijn, so the foul is clear that's not the debatable bit.  But how can they view that on video replay and decide it's inside the box!?!?  On the 2nd replay you could see the contact was outside and it did NOT continue inside.

Paul Tierney with yet another VAR farce after last night's equally daft decision.  For once he gives something for Spurs but quite frankly that's irrelevant.  I've asked admin to remove my account on here, this has gone too far and they are getting over 75% of KMI's completely and utterly wrong.  An abomination.

If you think Pogba kicking his own calf is a penalty, we are in an even worse state than we already are!  Coote did well today but let down incredibly by VAR, just as he was at Brighton vs. Southampton.

David Coote could not see with the naked eye whether it was a penalty or not so should not have given it., IMO. The first "foul" was outside the area and the second second one was mm's outside the box. Very poor by VAR, the officials are not helping themselves. We should not be talking about mistakes by officials so often after the games.

The problem with VAR is it prevents benefit of doubt, where pundits would say "its tight, close, cant really blame officials"
Now they are blaming officials and from what I have seen, at times, quite rightly

I will point out that he requested yesterday to have his account deleted, which has been done on his behalf.  He can't reply without an account!

After seeing a couple of replays it was a foul just about, but was clearly outside the box. That’s twice that Coote has been forced to give a penalty on the advice of VAR. his confidence must be shot!

Didnt coote give the penalty on field straight away? Just var didnt over turn it ie agreeing it was a foul and it was in the area.
