2 Reds absolutely correct

Missed yellows for Coleman (yellow for Romero for far less of a challenge)and Tarkowsi

Why was Longlet cautioned for a shirt pull that didn’t halt the progress of the Everton player?

Whilst the Everton player stayed on his feet and kept going, the shirt-pull certainly did impede his progress.  In addition, a shirt-pull is always likely to result in a yellow card (at least it should do) because it is not something that one can do accidentally.  A foul challenge can be a mistimed attempt to play the ball, a shirt-pull cannot.

I would have to disagree.  Shirt pulling is not a cautionable offence, only if it stops a promising attack.  The fact that advantage was played here means that the caution was technically incorrect in law as it now states that if you play advantage for an SPA offence you cannot go back to caution.

An absolute waste of 15 minutes from Carragher and Neville debating whether its a RC for Doucoure or not. Like, seriously????? 🤣😂😅

In fairness, I don't think they were debating whether it was a red card, they were agreed on that.  The disagreement was around whether Kane was justified in going to ground based on the contact.

And as I said before, that is irrelevant.  Had he stayed up, gone to ground, retaliated by punching him in the face, gone crying to the referee, etc, the outcome is still always going to be the same, a red card for Doucoure.

Let’s not cloud the facts. He didn’t “punch” Kane in the face. It was a push and a deserved red card. But the reaction of Kane is pathetic.
Had this been a foreign player or someone who isn’t the captain of England it would be making headlines in the media.

Punch / slap / push, whatever, they all result in the same outcome of a red card.  As Gary Neville also said, there's an argument to say he was actually poked in the eye, bottom line is though Doucoure's hands had no right in being where they ended up.

There is not a single premier league player that wouldn't go down having had that happen to them, if for no other reason than if they didn't and as a result the opponent wasn't sent off they would be torn to pieces by their manager.

Coote has been better since he was realised that breathing on someone isn’t a foul.

It's about time players and coaches realise that!
