Chris Kavanagh Man Utd vs Man City

Has to be one of if not the most boring Manchester Derby I’ve ever seen Kavanagh wasn’t tested and was probably the best on the pitch that’s how bad the teams were it was niggly in patches and Kavanagh handled it well

If that’s the dross Utd are going to muster up every game then ole please resign it was embarrassing watching Utd today against a superior team far from their best

I switched over on 60 mins.. absolute dross of the highest order.

Give me a Mike Dean card fest any day!
Incidentally he hit the magic 3000 in yellow cards today.

Agree Kavanagh was hardly tested, but would like to have seen an earlier yellow card for Fernandinho for two quite naughty tackles. VAR helps out linesman on far side who was behind play - otherwise would have been clear pen on Rashford

Fernandinho, like Xhaka, gets away with this seemingly every game!  Kavanagh was steady enough in a dreadful game, some of the passing from City in particular was poor by professional standards.  Kyle Walker extremely fortunate not to give away yet another penalty when the offside was given by VAR, albeit Rashford's dive to prove he was kicked was very funny.

How was it a dive when there was clear contact on his foot?

If it was a foul by Walker, what does it matter what Rashford did?

When one excellent advantage, remarked upon by Guy Mowbray makes the Match of the Day highlights, it says it all about the game

I, naturally, would put the emphasis on "if".
