Dropped Balls
« on: Thu 22 Aug 2019 17:20 »
After a few weeks of employing the new, uncontested dropped ball Law I have come to the conclusion that the process is flawed.  All it succeeds in doing is getting the referee out of position for the next phase of play.  Since they are all uncontested would it not be better to re-start with a new type of free kick where the opponents only have to be four metres away or outside the penalty area, as appropriate?

How dare you! That would be far too sensible!
