Whistleblower - I didn’t mean to dislike your post (reply #58) and it wouldn’t let me undo the rating either  ::)

Thank you ajb95.  When one posts on an open forum then one must be prepared for likes and dislikes and rather like Kipling's advice on triumph and disaster treating those two impostors just the same. I did wonder what you disliked about my post and now I know it was nothing. I am grateful for you to have taken the trouble to point that out.

I think one of the drawbacks of our mostly excellent forum is that we cannot appear to undo reactive symbols once given , perhaps over hastily or in error.

It looks like Neil Davies has replaced Eddie Smart on the FIFA list.. they’ve finally updated the site to reflect this year!

Poor that they can't get his name the right way round on an official document.

Am I right in thinking that Eddie has never been assistant at an F A Cup Final? Will this mean he may miss out?
Was it his choice to step down?

Ratings can be changed but only while still on the same page, after moving to another page or another site it's too late - maybe the RTR equivalent of being able to reverse your decision as long as you've not restarted the game. Perhaps ideally the "like" and "dislike" icons would be further apart to reduce the risk of clicking on the wrong one? I'd prefer not to have "dislike" icons so that anyone who dislikes or disagrees with a post would need to explain their views.

We have no control over the set up of them or how they work.  They are a non editable feature on the forum - we'd love to be able to fix not being able to change a rating wrongly entered (done it myself more than once!) and change the options but unfortunately we can't.  I think we can switch them off completely though.

There must be a supply issue with 2021 FIFA badges as Bankes is wearing the FA badge this afternoon at Crawley.

Don't they always wear the FA badge for FA cup games?

The FIFA badge is superior to the FA badge.  Oliver had his 2020 badge on this afternoon at Marine.
