FA Cup replay - considered the award of a penalty in extra time very harsh. The Blackpool player lowered his head significantly and the raised foot of the defender did not seem punishable in my opinion - though only had benefit of watching a dark video . Scissor kicks are higher and rarely punished. Ref was Andy Haines who was well placed to give. Soft spot for Blackpool so hope they progress.

It was indeed a very soft spot kick for Blackpool.

It was not given for a high foot per se but for the fact the defender kicked the players upper arm. I still believe that the law reads kicks or attempts to kick so soft or otherwise I thought it was correct
