I'm not sure that the everton goal should have been disallowed as it looked like Coady was onside and behind Milner's outstretched foot.

The whole thing confused the hell out of me as the blue line signified the Liverpool player and the red line the Everton one, and from judging by the line position/colour, presumed it was onside!

Indeed.

A strange performance from Taylor - nothing majorly wrong but probably let a bit too much go, and stamped his authority sooner

Pretty clear offside, clear from the first angle. Surprised it took VAR so long to disallow the goal.

I thought they got the VVD tackle yellow card decision just about right, there was limited force.

I’ve only seen a slow motion replay of the VD tackle, but I’m in agreement. It’s one of those challenges where fans expect a red because of the initial point of contact, but the level of force looks to be in the ‘disregarding safety’ area, and not ‘endangering’.

Reports emanating that a bottle was lobbed at Herr Klopp and a fan got on the field to confront Taylor at the end.

Disgraceful behaviour once again from “fans”.
