Anthony would I'm sure say that every piece of training he has ever had is based around one of the primary duties and responsibilities of the referee, that of ensuring the safety of the players, and that he was 'just doing his job'.

But nothing in any training prepares you for what he had to deal with and his impeccable handling of the situation should be held in the highest regard.
