 I have been on Facebook this evening and I have read a post from someone who is a cousin to Andy Newbold who was a prominent Assistant Referee who has sadly passed away .
 His "claim to fame" was as the A/R who awarded the goal to Sunderland against Liverpool in 2009 which has been described as the "beach ball" goal. 
 
 May he Rest in Peace.
