2019-20 Finals Day
« on: Mon 03 May 2021 15:32 »
Consett V Hebburn Town

Referee: Salisbury, Michael
Assistant Referee: Byrne, George
Assistant Referee: Clark, Joe
Fourth Official: Doughty, Leigh

Watched this game as a lover of non-league football and must say the officials were excellent throughout. Not one bad word said by the commentary team either of which was great to hear.

Totally agree with Jevonthered. It was a really enjoyable game with some decent football, no rolling around feigning injuries by any players, no grief given to the officials who were excellent throughout.
I hope that the Consett player who was stretchered off with a bad head injury will be OK, shame to end his day as it did.

Congratulations to Hebburn in a very tight match.
Referee's decision used to be final!
