Sad news and Rest in Peace Mr Turvey.

For my own information when did Mr Turvey officiate ?

Alan Turvey was a Football League referee from 1973 to 1978. For me (and I imagine many other football followers) he deserves great credit for being the only member of an FA Panel to oppose Wimbledon's move to Milton Keynes and the formation of MK Dons - a move which usurped the original club's place in the Football League.
