Adam Herczeg, Barnsley v Charlton Athletic
« on: Mon 26 Sep 2022 14:07 »
Credit to Adam Herczeg for an assured performance on Saturday on his first taste of League One.
His appointment, on the back of only a handful of League Two and Papa John's appointments, was greeted with trepidation after an awful performance by another rookie ref in our last home game (of which I shall say no more) but Mr Herczeg allayed all fears. He kept himself in the background, allowed the game to flow, was fair and consistent in his decision making and kept his cards in his pockets throughout.

One for the future I feel - was very impressed with him last year in the National League at Grimsby

Good to hear that he's doing okay.

His elevation surprised a number of people who had seen him at 2A

…. And his semi final conference performance was one of the worst I had seen for sometime.
