A trivial (but pertinent) question
« on: Thu 08 Dec 2022 16:09 »
Tomasz Listkiewicz, one of the Polish assistants at the Qatar World Cup tournament, is the son of Michał Listkiewicz, who officiated at the corresponding events in 1990 and (I think) 1994.  So, I wonder, is the first example of a son following in his father's footsteps in this manner?  I cannot think of another instance, but perhaps the learned membership of this forum knows better.

Edgardo Codesalís Father in law was also on the FIFA referee committee in 1990 that appointed him to referee the final!

Whether their fathers refereed at a World Cup Finals, Benito Archundia and Cuynet Cakir are both the sons of FIFA referees.
