M OLIVER - THE FA CUP FINAL
Good start from the officials

Yep Oliver has been his usual steady self, no dramas and has let a very good contest flow.

And we are not even talking about Big Brother interfering either... yet!

I have a bad feeling that we will get some uneeded big brother drama

Top class performance from Oliver - from my point of view a far better referee than Taylor. Unfussy, in control, stayed in the background until needed, and clearly had the respect of the players. Hope UEFA were watching!

And that, Anthony Taylor, was how to referee an F A Cup Final by allowing some solid challenges while keeping a low profile, playing some excellent advantages and not turning into a card fest. Hope you were watching.
Good solid performance from England’s top referee.
