MOL Fehérvár 2-1 Paks
Referee: Farkas Ádám - black shirt
YC:7; YYR:0; RC:0; Pen:0

Highlight of the first half was the Paks drummers. MOL Fehérvár went in at half time 1-0 up thanks to a Petryak Ivan goal – it was literally the only highlight in the first half! 2nd half was much better, plenty of flowing football on display from both teams and more chances. Ádám Martin equalised in the 69th minute, either side of his goal (55 & 74) there were VAR reviews for possible penalties to Paks – neither was given. Ádám Martin also had a goal correctly disallowed for offside on 77 mins. Kodro getting the winner for MOL Fehérvár in the 84th min. Enjoyable 2nd half for the neutral although Bognár György will be disappointed to have not got at least a draw. One bizarre moment that you don’t see often – Fehérvár wanted to make a substitution, Hangya Szilveszter left the pitch only to be given a yellow card for leaving the field of play without the referees permission. Correct in law & a lesson to players – wait until the referee signals for the substitution to take place-seeing the ARs flag or the fourth official holding up the board does not mean the referee has given his permission for it to go ahead – play to the whistle as the saying goes!

Mezőkövesd Zsóry v Újpest
Referee: Solymosi Péter
YC:4; YYR:0; RC:0; Pen:1

Thoroughly enjoyable game to watch. Each team scoring twice – one for themselves and one for the opposition! Plenty of pretty football on display and 2 teams very evenly matched. A draw was a fair result overall. Tallo missed the opportunity to seal the points for Lilák with a mediocre penalty at 90+2. that was fairly easily saved by Bazsányi Péter. Lilâk reman rooted to the bottom of the table but there are at least some positive signs. Steady game from team ref.

The lovely Mr Solymosi wore red because he is awesome! That's 3 games out of 4 this season he has worn red - he deserves his #1 spot.  Important in terms of his shirt stats as well - the shirt stats only go back as far as 2012/13 but in 182 games (as referee) since then he has worn black 59 times, blue 42 times, red 41 times and the vile rag 40 times. The red shirt yesterday finally moved red wearing ahead of vile wearing & long may that continue! Next target is for red shirts to move above blue! Maybe I need to suggest to Tóth I Vencel that Mr Solymosi should not be allowed to retire until red is is top spot. 19 games to go for that assuming no black in amongst them - 22 games left this season... Nagyszerű vagy, Péter!

MTK Budapest 1-1 DVSC
Referee: Káprály Mihály
YC:4; YYR:0; RC:0; Pen:0

He wore yellow.... Last time he did so he got dropped for 4 weeks (as did Andó-Szabó when he wore yellow) - double punishment this time please MLSZ!

First half was a bit meh. Neither team playing badly but neither team looking particularly dominant either. 2nd half was livelier, both teams playing some nice football but very little in terms of the final third. Poor defending cost Loki early in the first half, an equaliser coming from Ferenczi János midway through the 2nd half. MTK looked the more likely team to steal a winner but were unable to convert their chances.

Gyirmót FC Győr 0-2 Ferencváros
Referee: Pintér Csaba
YC:3; YYR:0; RC:0; Pen:0

The only referee not to be dropped for 4 games after wearing yellow... To be fair though he is having a great season.

A very dull first half… 2nd half was a much better one to watch. Fradi though barely got out of neutral, hopefully they are saving themselves for their midweek game v Celtic in the Europa League. Despite the scoreline they didn’t particularly dominate the game but they did enough. It was good to see Tokmac back on the scoresheet. Gyirmót gave their all and had some decent chances, they’re just not strong enough though. Shame because they seem a nice club and Csertői Aurél is a very likeable manager.  Easy one for team ref.

Kisvárda Master Good 5-0 ZTE
Referee: Bognár Tamás - black shirt
YC:0; YYR:0; RC:0; Pen:0

Move over Fradi – Kisvárda want top spot back. We saw our first instance of VAR doing what GLT does – a review to see if the ball had crossed the line seeing a goal awarded to Kisvárda. Kálnoki Kis Dávid’s clearance coming after the ball had already crossed the line. 8 mins later VAR was called on again – review for a possible penalty for ZTE – decision no penalty. 6 mins later Navratil Jaroslav got his 2nd to double the Kisvárda lead. No need for VAR that time. Half time Kisvárda went in 2-0 up. 2nd half was slower paced, Kisvárda showing how to see out a game, ZTE weak and devoid of ideas. Driton Camaj is the definition of an impact sub, coming on in the 69th min and goals on 73, 82 & 86 seeing him with a hattrick within 15 mins of being on the pitch! ZTE there just to make up the numbers by this point!

Despite the hammering, both teams were an absolute credit in terms of behaviour & sportsmanship. No surprise the game was cardless. Bognár was able to remain quietly in the background and let the game flow around him. Stepped in when needed but was a quiet calming presence for the vast part.  He'll have enjoyed this one. No fault of his he didn't see the ball over the line, crowded penalty box, he was in a good position but there were about 14 players in his direct view & it was a very close call.  He did immediately ask VAR to review it (we don't have GLT). It took a couple of minutes and several angles to confirm the ball had wholly crossed the line.

Puskás Akadémia 3-1 Budapest Honvéd
Referee: Bogár Gergő
VAR: Solymosi Péter
YC:6; YYR:0; RC:1; Pen:1 + both coaches given yellow cards.

What a strange first half. Nono put Kispest ahead on 16, he was fouled in the box but stayed on his feet and got the shot away. Referee did signal for an advantage so had noted the foul and would potentially have pulled play back for a penalty had Nono not scored. Then Baluta fouled Machach and there were a few handbags thrown as a result. During the melee Nagy Dominik grabbed Baluta by the throat with both hands & was given a red card. Baluta was given a yellow card for the foul. Nagy Zsolt should also have been given a yellow but wasn’t - he grabbed Nagy Dominik around the neck, 1 handed, in response to him having grabbed Baluta. 3 mins later Kozák received a yellow for a push on Batik. Horváth Ferenc showed his ability to look and act professionally in the technical area is impossible and threw a tantrum, he was given a yellow card and responded by carrying on shouting and kicking the wall in temper – he was lucky to not see red. My teams' manager or not he should have been binned really. Plsek Jakub equalised for Felcsút on the stroke of half time. 2nd half started with Felcsút tactically fouling Nono – Nagy Zolt & Van Nieff both getting yellow cards for fouls on him. Injury to Klemenz on 60 saw him substituted off. Shame as he & Mezghrani were playing well together. Penalty to Felcsút after VAR review – handball by Nagy Gergő. Correct call & good spot from the VAR. Mezghrani adding to the woes with an own goal in the 88th min. Kispest still found the time to have a goal disallowed for offside. Everything that could go wrong for Kispest did – red card, giving away a penalty, scoring an own goal, having a disallowed goal & an unprofessional coach embarrassing himself & the team again! The players & fans deserve much better.

Difficult game for Bogár.  Felcsút are a dirty, sneaky team , always looking to try and con the referee and doing snidey fouls off the ball on their blindside. My team has a few thugs in it & can be very brutal in terms of tackles encouraged by a completely unprofessional disgrace of a coach. It's never going to be an easy game to referee.  2 calls wrong for me - Nagy Zolt missed yellow in the first half, as he got a yellow later that could have been his 2nd one although as it was tactically fouling he'd probably not have done so if already on a yellow. He also didn't seem to pick up on the tactical fouling on Nono - yes 2 players got booked but they were the really blatant fouls, he didn't have a word with the captain for example to say it had been noted & needed to stop. The other wrong call was not binning Horváth. Other than that he had a decent enough game. He's still young but his progression is fantastic and he overall handled a very difficult game very well.

Please dear god of football a new manager for Kispest asap
