Not strictly relevant, but did the projected move to Latvia fall through? Or is it none of my business?

Nebojša took the job there in June/July & I am doing the welfare work for him as I did at Újpest.  It's all done via Skype/zoom right now. With covid I've not had the chance to visit there yet although last time I was home in Hungary, Nebojša was there for a couple of days so Mr bmb and I got to see him & his beautiful wife for a socially distanced coffee, which was nice.

Mr bmb & I are having to do some hard evaluating right now, he's been refused leave to remain in the UK, I've been refused it in Hungary (thanks brexit...) so we're having to do the whole no more than 3 months out of 6 (90 days in 180 to be exact) palava across both countries and in a pandemic with travel restrictions ever changing that has not been easy to put it mildly! Neither of us was even allowed to travel to the others country for several months last year, I think we ended up getting about 6 weeks in total together at most so we are trying to work on a solution now. It's easier for me to move as I can work remotely, he can't. His time off is restricted to summer & winter breaks n the football season & would normally just spend the whole time here but with mandatory quarantine, he's only been able to come for a week-10 days and then have to return so his quarantine period is up in time for the pre-season starting.  We're only about 35km away from the border with Romania so we are house hunting for somewhere as close to the border as possible on the Romanian side with the intention of me living 3 months in Hungary, 3 months in Romania and repeat. We're awaiting an ok from Romanian immigration if they will allow it. Our best bet would be an apartment in Nagykároly (Carei) which is about 70/80km from us.  The sticking point is me being disabled and requiring a carer. Although he would be able to travel back & forth, even with his job, in the winter a lot of those roads are closed off for weeks. We have very good friends in Nagykároly who would do my shopping (no online home deliver there) and check in on me daily to make sure I've not had a fall etc. Hopefully immigration will accept that as enough. The other alternative is for 3 months in Hungary, then 3 in Latvia and repeat.  I'd live with Nebojša in Latvia, which would solve the carer problem but then those 3 months Mr bmb would be limited to get there for more than a few days here & there and of course is depended on Nebojša remaining there longer term! Maybe we'll end up with 3 in Hungary, then 3 in Romania, 3 in Hungary and then 3 in Latvia!!  bmb jr would get a student visa and would be able to remain in Hungary as a student, Mr bmb & his family would look after him. I can't currently apply for citizenship in Hungary, aside of the fact I'd fail the language test right now, I have to be living there to do so & we go round in circles as they will only let me live there for 3 months in every 6 & I don't qualify for any of the visas that would let me stay full time! So for now it's 3 months in the UK, 3 months in Hungary and repeat until we find a better solution. Without covid he'd spend 4-6 days in every 14 here and I can do the full 3 months there but that's very disruptive for jr and his studies.  We'll find a solution but probably not until covid finally does one and we don't have those travel restrictions thrown into the mix!

I'm hoping to get out to Latvia for a couple of weeks before Christmas so I can meet the players face to face and go to a couple of games.  Right now I attend training most days via Skype but someone will just mute me & run off when I start lecturing them about their lack of on-field discipline
