Pintér Csaba had a nasty moment in his game in the NBII yesterday. Having given a corner to Gyirmót. Ball was cleared and ss it came back it he got absolutely whacked by it. Credit to the players who didn't wait for a whistle to signal a stoppage, they were straight over to him to check he was ok & called the trainers on from both teams I suspect to check for concussion. He did manage a whistle for stoppage at some point but the players had already stopped play themselves. He did carry on after being checked out with various players checking up on him. Play was restarted with a drop ball, Gyirmót passing the ball back to the Vasas goalkeeper in that sporting way.

Credit to both teams for their conduct although it did not surprise me from either of them. They have good reputations regarding respect. It was still nice to see although I would have preferred not to see one of our referees getting whacked in the first place!

The inked video starts about 15 seconds before it happens

Hajrá Lilák. Csak a Kispest. Hajrá Magyarok! Hajrá játékvezetői csapat! Soha ne add fel. Nincs sárga kérem!!! No Chris Kavanagh doesn't live in Ashton or even in the Greater Manchester area!!
