#SolymosiWatch came with a black shirt & black whistle today. I'm sure he could have worn red but I'm not going to complain about it!!

Paks 0-0 Budapest Honvéd - Solymosi Péter (black shirt)

About on par with the midweek Kupa game, slightly less dire & it did come with #SolymosiWatch which is enough excellence on it's own ;) Decent performance from team ref, his positioning was a bit off 3/4 times & he was a bit close to play but nothing major. Beyond having to decide which shirt to wear to keep Missy bmb happy I don't think he had a decision to make! Game was cardless - none were needed. He did wear long sleeves - the wimp!

DVTK 2-1 Újpest - Erdős József (black shirt)

I feel a bit for Mr Erdős - he's not well liked in District IV or on our travels! It has to be said straight away, it is not his fault that our players are completely clueless when it comes to Law 11! 2/3 weeks ago he correctly disallowed a goal for offside and then today it was 2. Both decisions were correct - Szert Balázs spot on with his flag both times. Takács János was trying to tell the players & stop them celebrating but to no avail! Literally seconds after a press friend texted me to say he was going to win the red card sweepstake today up steps Balázs Benjamin, takes one for the team & wins Missy bmb the red card sweepstakes! Perfectly correct red for DOGSO. Cries of fix from said press friend in District IX, although one of his team was later sent off so I'd have won either way! Excellent performance from Mr Erdős - hope he left his copy of the LOTG behind open on Law 11 for my players though! We did not deserve to lose 1-2 but have no-one to blame but ourselves.

Puskás Akadémia 1-4 Mol Fehérvár - Pintér Csaba (blue shirt)

One of my small screen games & only seen the highlights. Not sure what Hegedus was bleating on about after Fehérvár's 3rd goal. He seemed to be trying to claim the ball had been taken out of his hands. He had pushed it to one side, one of his defenders made a hash of it & Nikolics said thank you very much, bosh back of the net! No problem with the goal at all - maybe he should have caught the ball instead of pushing it away! Nothing flagged up in the highlights so well done Mr Pintér.

Kaposvári Rákóczi 0-4 Mezőkövesd Zsóry - Csonka Bence (red shirt)

17 points from safety, 9 games to go. Not mathematically down but Kaposvár are down! It is all the referees fault, every single defeat, every yellow & red card so may I congratulate Csonka Bence on his 4 goals for Mezokovesd today Quite an achievement to do so while faultlessly refereeing the match as well.  Told you he was talented! On the refereeing side his positioning was excellent, decision making consistent and fair, fitness is outstanding. Hope he can keep progressing as is. Got the penalty call for goal 3 spot on, just a yellow card, no DOGSO element - there were only 3 players in the penalty area, the Mezo striker, Kaposvar defender & goalie. I like Pogacsics, their goalie, he spends 85mins per match asking his defence what the ^%^$Ł they were doing and the other 5 mins picking the ball out of the net! Hope he signs for a decent team after Kaposvar go down, would love to see him with a decent defence.

DVSC 1-0 Kisvárda Master Good - Berke Balázs (black shirt)

Moment of sheer genius/beauty from Varga Kevin won this one today. Easy for Berke to stay anonymous, he wasn't needed! Both teams were impeccably behaved.

ZTE 1-1 Ferencváros - Karakó Ferenc (black shirt)

Now don't go getting over excited or anything but Mr Karakó put in a decent performance. Today he showed why he is considered a talent & a performance like today is what we should be seeing every single week from one of our FIFA referees. 3 big calls in the game & he got them all spot on. Penalty shout for ZTE - denied. I agree. Hard one for him. Fradi defender was trying to pull his arm out of the way, ball was hit at him from close range, arm not in unnatural position to start with, no way was it deliberate, if any contact occurred and it was not conclusive if it did or not. Even on replay you can't work out if it hit his side or just caught his arm. Can support the ref's call. Would have been very harsh to give that as a pen. It did highlight one reason we are nowhere near ready for VAR - the quality of replays are terrible! 2nd penalty shout for ZTE - correctly given. Easier call, it was a foul, it was obvious! The final big call was whether a foul by Civic warranted a yellow, which was a 2nd yellow - correct to give it & the subsequent red.  Deserved draw for ZTE.

Have to add I really did feel for them today, it's their 100 year anniversary and they did this amazing countdown to 19mins 20 seconds so the clock was showing 19.20 when the fans unveiled a fantastic 100 year banner/tifo. Fradi took the lead 30 seconds later while the fans were still holding the anniversary thing up so proudly :( It felt very harsh & mean!
