Team ref continued to have a good afternoon.

You'd have been excused for thinking Mr Bognár had failed to attend as he was so much in the background. He allowed the game to flow around him, he was rarely needed to step in & he did so on those rare times. Lovey game of football to watch. Lovely but frustrating if you are a lilák fan like me! We should have won at least 6-0 but unfortunately our strikers are not of the same standard of quality as team ref! We can't even claim that the other keeper played a worldy - 5 shameful misses, not saves but misses! Still we won, kept a clean sheet & that is all that matters! Obinna's goal was a thing of absolute beauty.

Mr Kassai was decent in the Kispest game.  It was a superb game to watch. Debrecen v Honvéd normally is, there's no real shenanigans but 2 good footballing teams. Penalty shout for Loki, none given & I think it was the right call, simple coming together as 2 players legally challenged for the ball. Couple of ace advantages both ways and both AR's on the ball with a couple of tight offside decisions. Team ref can happy with their performance & neither team have any cause for complaint. I do believe that during the post match handshakes Mr Kassai was seen smiling with a couple of players from each team - smiling! Not even the merest hint of his epic death stare & smiling, he must have been glad to have been on home soil for a change!!

Mr Pintér - steady performance from him. He's never going to be a spectacular referee but he is a safe pair of hands. No issues at all in his game.

Mr Erdős - hilarious moment in his game. Roli from MOL Fehérvár & Böde from Paks had a bit of a spat going on at one point. 2 ex National team players, both legends, both whingy, whiney, pathetic dudes these days who spend 90 mins trying to referee games instead of playing! Both love the sound of their own voice in the referee's ear from start to finish - how they don't get booked for dissent every single game is really beyond me. When I saw them having a spat I quipped "oh I bet they are arguing over whose turn it is to give the referee the benefit of their 'expert opinion' ", much hilarity amongst the Magyar Foci group & press guys at that comment, who agreed that I was probably right! Not a clue why they were throwing handbags at each other in the first place but I stand by my quip as the real reason! Mr Erdős was great he threw the pair of them such a withering look & I'm pretty sure he rolled his eyes at them as well! Paks did however throw the entire prediction league into disarray by winning & causing every single participant 3 points lost!

Now for #SolymosiWatch
Hajrá Lilák. Csak a Kispest. Hajrá Magyarok! Hajrá játékvezetői csapat! Soha ne add fel. Nincs sárga kérem!!! No Chris Kavanagh doesn't live in Ashton or even in the Greater Manchester area!!
