Looks like I'm on Kettlewatch .....again

How come Kettle added 12 minutes of injury time?

Barnsley's win was tempered by a nasty injury to Moore, who was carried off following an aerial collision with Gabriel Zakuani of Gillingham after 82 minutes. There was an 8 minute delay because of the injury.

In fact both players were injured, Barnsley player Moore was carried off on a stretcher wearing a neck brace and oxygen mask and was kept in hospital overnight, was discharged in the morning.  Zakuani was also helped off the pitch and left on crutches.  12 minutes of added time was about right. As for Mr Kettle's performance let's just say it was inconsistent!

Kettle is consistently inconsistent.

Not so during the many times that I have seen him...

Really?   Well in that case, was he inconsistently consistent or inconsistently inconsistent ?

He appears to perform OK at 3rd and 4th Division level when I've seen him, you should be able to judge for yourself next season?  ;D

I think Nemesis and Whistleblower have witnessed countless times Kettle ruining games as a spectacle over many years...

I won't have to wait - Kettle has "refereed" Southend 26 times and I've seen the majority of those games. Add a goodly (poor choice of words here) number of Ipswich matches pre SG2 and a number of other matches and his loose cannon officiating throughout all his earlier years has been an embarrassment. He has however matured into a poor referee with fewer knee-jerk reactions.

At least he has stopped blowing for half time just as the ball heads into the back of the net!!!
