We very rarely hear of 10+ cards brandished in matches…we’ve had three such occurrences (that have been reported on here) inside the first three weekends of the season.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the return of crowds, a change of disciplinary policy in the EFL or incompetent refereeing.
Bit of all 3 tbh. Seems incredible that yellow cards handed out this season is up nearly 150% on the same time last season
