Hoping to see better from young Will Finnie this Saturday at Gresty Road than from David Rock last weekend!

Very happy to see Backhouse on a game at the bank again he’s never had a bad game when I’ve seen him so hopefully that continues and he’s better than Boyeson and Sarginson that I’ve seen the last 2 weeks

Yes, I liked the performance of Anthony Backhouse (a Clatts lookalike) when he came to Gresty Road as a 'newbie' last season.

No weekend game for David Rock this week, after last week's performance. Hoping he redeems himself tonight when I see him live.

He had only been doing one game a week for the first 6 weeks of the season - no midweeks at all.

This week he did his first midweek match, so perhaps a precautionary standing down.

Probably not the quietest afternoon in the sunshine for fourth official Andrew Williams at Priestfield.  Steve Evans and Paul Lambert had their first exchange of words after only three minutes.  Post match there were claims about unpleasant things being said and reported to the match officials.  They will meet again on the 8th October in the EFL trophy.  Good luck to the fourth official that evening.

I had low expectations of Sarginson and he probably had a better game than his average performance.  He did let plenty go though.

How Mr Evans hasn't been sent off in recent times is baffling. An odious individual with a mouth to match.

He certainly gives colin a run for his money.

Colin has been very well behaved this season compared to his usual tirades we see from him..... for a change!

As usual Backhouse was excellent and hope a few of the other refs can perform like him more often!

Not just the newbies who are giving duff penalties. Andy Haines awarding Northampton their first penalty v Crawley was completely bizarre, and it looked as though he had got the teams muddled after the Northampton attacker quite clearly floored the Crawley defender.

I was thrown a bit trying to decide who was refereeing at AFC Wimbledon until I realised that the already balding Nicholas Kinseley had gone for a full 'Howard Webb' !

I thought that he had muddled as well when I viewed it on the TV.
I wasn't there but many of ours said it was a very dodgy award at the time.
