2 things spring to mind:

Firstly, I think we may see a bit of this both with players and officials going from training straight into high adrenaline game. Not like any of them have had any sort of "pre season"

Secondly, the relief on Drysdale's face when he remembered there was a reserve Assistant, as I think it would be well over 15 years since he last ran a line

A good call on the SG2 thread from Mackem Ref that last weekend's officiating team at Reading would be the League 2 Play Off final appointments.

Yes indeed, congratulations!

60% from Lancashire - and a fairly restricted area of Lancashire at that!

Congratulations to Salisbury on an excellent season - promotion will follow soon in my opinion. Also congratulations to the other officials, especially Doughty who seems one to watch out for!!

Well done to all who have been appointed. Hopefully they will have a good game, it's worth a lot money to the winners.  ;) ;D

Congratulations to Michael and the team for the League 2 Play-off final.

Curious that there are no announcement of appointments for League 1 play-offs. I can't seem to find them. Does anyone know who is officiating the two legs?

They'll come out on Monday. The games aren't until the end of next week.

The SG1 and SG2 appointments have been appearing here on Tuesdays since the return.

Andy Woolmer must be a strong contender based on the weekend and the previous couple of seasons.

Sorry, can’t work out if this is a joke or deadly serious comment. Given Woolmers handling of the 22 man brawl at the weekend I hope it’s the former
