Simon Mather did well to keep it at only 1 red card on Tuesday in the Port Vale v Walsall game
The red was for two yellows, first for a player needlessly getting involved in a minor fracas and the second a stonewall yellow for a late tackle.
Not helped by the increased animosity between the two clubs and their supporters (The Walsall manager quit to manage Vale earlier this year for those who arent aware) he handled a tetchy, local-ish derby game very well, and always maintained control even when it threatened to boil over a few times.
