Certainly not going to complain about Mr Kettle at Fratton Park for the visit of Lincoln on Good Friday. His last 4 visits to Fratton have resulted in 4 wins for Pompey , 11 goals for and only 1 against.
I hope we get to see mr kettle one last time at home park before he hangs up his whistle, vastly underrated and over criticised official imo .

I guess we will have to politely agree to disagree on our opinions of Kettle…

Many posters have witnessed first hand the carnage and destruction he has caused to many sides over the years.

However, he has had some good games, but the games that he has ruined far outweigh the better performances.

Interesting and somewhat unusual situation having watched it. Both dived into the tackle recklessly and out of control and both got hurt. Would have been easier to either overlook it out of compassion or punish one or the other depending on the extent of injury. But by the letter of the law red was the right outcome.

Darren Drysdale late replacement at Prenton Park. Some very strange decisions, none game-changing, but I did find Mr Drysdale's body language aggressive; he seemed to be bristling throughout the game.
