I hope Andrew Kitchen is better in front of the watching millions (!) than he was in front of one man and his dog at the Pizza Trophy game versus Bolton a few weeks ago.

His foul detection was erratic and at times non-existent. It takes something to get fans annoyed in unison at one of those games, but he managed it with aplomb.

Exactly the same today , I thought he was rubbish but at least rubbish fairly lol .  Good cup tie good luck for the rest of the season .
My views are my own and not that of rate the ref .

Cheers and although Kitchen wasn’t responsible for either goal, Hardie was well offside in the build-up to the first and the ball was about 5 inches outside the corner quadrant for the second.

We didn’t defend either situation well enough, but sometimes you also need a bit of help from elsewhere when playing a team from a higher league.

I agree about the first goal but thought the one that was disallowed was very close. Anyway I thought Rochdale were better than a lot of the sides we played in league one this season so hopefully you will make a push for the playoffs

Cheers for that. We won't do because we miss too many chances and conceded too many avoidable goals, but after last season and the aborted takeover, there is plenty to be optimistic about

I thought that Ross Joyce had a good game at Salford where Chesterfield provided a Cup upset. Not too much to do, but showed his experience when giving a talking-to rather than resorting to cards following some handbags in midfield, and generally contributed to an entertaining game.

A good number of Houghton’s corners were from outside the quadrant and Hardie was clearly offside in the first goal build up.
We were on the wrong side of a couple of pretty clear corner and throw in calls, but no issue with any of the yellows from my green-tinted seat.
I thought Kitchen tried  to keep the game flowing but that was obviously at the expense of letting a few fouls go. I suspect he won’t have been particularly happy watching it back later on.

Undoubtedly, especially as two of the aforementioned errors both led to goals. Assistant Gooch could do with keeping up with play a bit more, I might add.

A nice little derby for Yeovil in the third round draw!

Good to see some of the lower league sides getting the big guns in the premier league!

Millwall v C Palace, brings back memories of clashes at the Old Den in days gone by. It's going to need a tough referee in charge of this derby.
