I feel that this is Kevin Friend’s opportunity to seal his name on the cup final appointment! Good game here and then there is literally nothing else in his way for a Wembley date in May!

I was surprised they didn’t give Tierney the big game at Chelsea. Unfortunately he had Man U last weekend which scuppered that chance. He’s not had a top 6 clash yet despite donning a shiny white badge.

Yet again Grandad is at the AMEX... he now has the royal VIP parking space right next to the gold plated entrance!!!!

Any games using VAR in this round?

I think Friend or Pawson will get the final and both have had a big 6 head to head game along the way.

Yes. The games that have VAR in this round are as follows:

Brighton & Hove Albion v  Derby County

Chelsea v Manchester United.

Seems unlikely that Mike Dean will get to his 100 in a game involving Crystal Palace. But good to have him at Donnies in what I think will be a tasty encounter!

Isn’t it 100 Premier League red cards, so Sunday won’t count?

Perhaps not very well worded, but I assumed that Mike would not get the Palace again for a while after having them in the FA Cup on Sunday. But with the present system of appointments, anything could happen, so perhaps the 100 at Palace v Man Utd at the end of Feb, just as long as it's not Zaha!

I agree with Readingfan, the FA Cup Final will go either to Friend or Pawson, though one can never discount a totally bizarre appointment. However, I'm not sure who else could be in the running. Mason....surely not,  Scott....unlikely, Kavanagh....too early, Attwell....it's possible but I don't think his performances merit it.  I suspect it will be Pawson because the FA are trying to push him up the International ladder quite quickly.

...unless Bristol City get to the Final 😉.

No need for the ‘including replays’ in the thread title - they’re scrapped!
