Remarkably, three out of the four referees are from Yorkshire.

Are these appointments a good indication of who is likely to be promoted to the NL for next season (also the FA Vase)?

I do not know about the Trophy, but of the Vase Quarter Finals I have watched over the last five years:

Rob Jones, John Busby and Neil Hair have gone on (not necessarily immediately) to reach the Football League
Adrian Holmes followed the Assistant Pathway
Sam Allison and Tom Reeves remain at National League Level - the latter having a Q-F appointment again this year
and Chris O'Donnell has moved down a level

so a mixed bunch.

Actually I looked back at the Trophy appointments from last season and only James Oldham made the NL middle.

Hopefully Sam Barrott's ludicrously late postponement at Concord will be taken into consideration.

I am sure some referees call matches off because they feel a match in challenging conditions might adversely affect their assessments.

I recall being in the crowd 19 years ago when a team from Canvey Island also below level 5 not only got to the final but won it. Referee Alan Wiley.

Two of this years QF Refs (Messrs Brook and Quelch) are amongst the longest serving 2A refs having been on the list for 4 seasons. Only Joseph Johnson who has done very few games over the last couple of seasons has been on longer.

Two seasons ago I saw Brackley, then (and still) outside the National League Premier, win it.  Referee: Chris Kavanagh.

I would imagine the FA would quite like Notts C to progress as i think they would bring more than Harrogate to the final (of course the FA being neutral)
