Second time Marriner's had the appointment - second successive year they've done that.

I thought Tierney might get it but he's been involved in CL/EL across summer so might well be having a break.

A bit brave to put David Coote as VAR for first VAR domestic game of new season - I think he's done quite well as a referee since being promoted but not so sure VAR is his strength!
