A decent appointment for John Brooks as the only referee outside of SG1 to appear in this round - Moss arguably gets the tie of the round with Lampard’s return to the Bridge.

Any news on the officials appointed to Manchester City v Fulham, scheduled to take place on November 1st?

Par for the course at this stage I suggest for two teams outside of the PL.

Ironically the Tuesday live game is one of those without VAR! Nice to see Sky cover that game though.
Middlesboro v Palace would have been my other choice but can understand the draw of Lampard going to Chelsea

Not sure why this fixture needs several big hitters... we only had Atkinson last month too!

And several big other hitters on VAR duty, besides Dean.

I wonder if Michael Oliver will be kept busy at Bournemouth or is Lee Mason having a less controversial season?

Assuming this is because they could potentially have to do it in Europe or at Championships going forward?

Yes.  They are trying to do as many games as possible to get used to it.  The Hungarian & Polish refs have been going to Saudi Arabia, where VAR is in use, to do games for the experience.
Hajrá Lilák. Csak a Kispest. Hajrá Magyarok! Hajrá játékvezetői csapat! Soha ne add fel. Nincs sárga kérem!!! No Chris Kavanagh doesn't live in Ashton or even in the Greater Manchester area!!

Has VAR been used to change a decision yet in the League Cup this season, or has the referee been advised to make an on-field review at any point?

I've seen a few minor delays in some live games whilst a decision has been checked but in the games I've seen the original decision has always remained.

We certainly don't seem to have had any of the Spurs V Rochdale or Huddersfield V Man Utd type controversies so far this season.
