Good game for Langford on TV.

Good to see the likes of England, Gillett and Jones refereeing PL teams. And Busby too, who seems quite highly rated.

Only a few SG1 referees being used. Good derby game for Friend.

Excellent appointments for England and Brooks getting games at the Emirates and Old Trafford respectively!

I wonder whether Langford’s impromptu display at Stamford Bridge has pushed any claim he has for SG1? Leeds v Derby is a good appointment at the weekend followed by Liverpool in the Cup

Is it just me or do others struggle to find Langford anything other than average? I feel him to be inconsistent and, whilst I accept he does have some good games, these are more than balanced with a number of less convincing shows.

Only edited to fix the quote thingy bmb

A really good mix of appointments with officials from all 3 groups. Good luck to all of them (even if sides put out changed teams it is still good experience)

Looking forward to seeing Darren England at the emirates. In fact quite a few SG2 refs have premier league teams. Big appointment for friend with the south coast derby.

Great spread of appointments for a lot of officials. Especially the likes of Jarred Gillett and John Busby. Also nice to see some of the SG2 AR's with PL teams, James Mainwaring etc.

Why is Gillett wearing his FIFA badge in England?

Jarred is still listed as being one of Australia's FIFA Referees on the FIFA website.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it will be used in both legs of the semis and the Final.
