Congratulations to Carl & his team. Hope it is a fantastic day for all concerned.

I have very irrationally never forgiven him for bmb junior's uncle suffering from a career ending double leg break in a match where he was referee! He did nothing wrong & his dealing of the incident was exemplary, it wasn't even a foul, just an innocuous challenge that went horribly horribly wrong! Every time I see his name though I hear that crack & scream of pain!Poor ambulance crew that day, their patient passed out through shock & pain,a completely hysterical bmb & a very small bmb junior wanting to know what all the buttons did & what would happen if you pressed them. Bet they'd never been so glad to offload the ambulance at an A&E!!  I have deliberately never attended a game again where he was referee!
Hajrá Lilák. Csak a Kispest. Hajrá Magyarok! Hajrá játékvezetői csapat! Soha ne add fel. Nincs sárga kérem!!! No Chris Kavanagh doesn't live in Ashton or even in the Greater Manchester area!!

Congrats to "Boyo" and team, good solid appointment. Hope they have a great day out

More than that, I hope they do a great job to help enable all the paying customers to have a great day out.

And even more than that, let’s hope Carl doesn’t get injured, bearing in mind who is 4O!

Very pleased for Carl and team a fellow Hullensian who I know works very hard for the county fa and referee association outside of his normal refereeing duties hope he has a fantastic day and the ball runs smoothly for him.

I hope that Carl and his team get their big day out at Wembley on 5th April, ditto the fans of both teams. It would be a great shame if the coronavirus resulted in the game being postponed until later or even abandoned altogether, although I can see this happening if things don't improve quickly.

Sadly the EFL Final has become (I believe) the first major domestic Final to be postponed (BBC). I am sorry for the clubs, players and officials, and hope that Carl and his team will get their day at Wembley sometime in the future.
