Great to see a Kent F.A. Referee (Kirsty Dowle) appointed to the "middle" of a major cup final. The first since Steve Bennett, I believe (with whom I officiated several times in his Kent League days).
Indeed and before Bennett we have to go a long way back to the splendid Ron Challis in 1979. Kent hasn't produced that many top officials but those it has have been good 'uns .
