Ughh I was hoping (and I'm sure many other Fulham fans the same) that we wouldn't see him again for a while after the West Ham away handball debacle. Out of interest, is there any process where a team can request not having a particular referee on their matches, and if they did, would PGMOL take any notice?

Perhaps none of this was Chris' fault as West Ham seem to have their own LOAFs when it comes to handball!  ;)

I'm sure it was just a...coincidence, but there's certainly precedence for referees not doing a team after a particularly controversial performance. With Arsenal I can think of Mike Riley post-OT debacle, Mike Dean after the last minute penalty (he later apologised for) at WBA and Stuart Attwell after the City games at the Emirates. I'm sure other teams will have their own examples too. Sometimes I think the authorities take a pragmatic approach and think it's in everyone's best interests to have a little break.
