How did Robinson get on bmb? Even tho he wore yellow ;)

I thought he was fine. Couple of strange decisions both ways but nothing major. I’ve always liked seeing him at Dean Court. I like his style and I think he’s a solid reliable referee and today was no different.

The only decision I have any question over was Burnley’s 2nd goal. 1st pass looked offside, 2nd pass also looked offside but wasn’t and nothing to suggest if VAR checked both passes or not. They should have as they followed one another but that’s on VAR not the ref. I’ve not seen a replay of the first pass.

Only one of the goals that we didn’t gift wrap and hand them on a silver platter! I think our defence were officially registered with Dorset police as missing today…

I thought Michael Salisbury had a decent game in the game at Sheffield Wednesday Vs Newcastle as for his EFL assistant couldn’t keep up with the offside goal sheff wed scored

I thought the same at first but to be fair to Akil Howson from another angle it showed it looked like he was onside  by the tiniest of margins or at worse offside just by a toe would have been interesting to see which way VAR would have gone

I'm surprised that when Mr. Langford needed to be replaced at Boreham Wood, Mr. Howard (a L1/L2 Referee) wasn't asked to step up from 4O to Match Referee with a replacement 4O appointed. There are several precedents for that in other matches seen on RTR. If Mr. Howard is deemed, as 4O, to be of sufficient capability and status to take over the game in an emergency, surely he's good enough to referee it entirely.

Probably because he is at Bradford on Tuesday, whereas I don't think Keith Stroud has a game midweek.

Could be the reason.

Maybe they do not have enough officials to operate VAR next week? Or they might appoint them after this weekend's matches. Otherwise it is a bit odd - more so WOLLIV which had VAR in the original tie while LEECAR did not.

Edit- ignore my post now as VAR officials have been appointed
