I suspect the authorities will be breathing a sigh of relief that Man City Res / Academy went out 0-2 at Sunderland last night, leaving the semis and final to be contested by L1 / L2 clubs, which is how (imo) it should be.
Now they can concentrate on warming the balls for the semi final draw so that a Portsmouth v Sunderland final remains a possibility. :P

It would certainly be more of a crowd puller than Bury v Bristol Rovers. We shall find out in 48 hours.
